The Scoresby's Dallas Reception

Christy Scoresby (wow, it's weird not to say Christy Hill anymore!) has been my sister's best friend since they were sophomore's in high school.  It didn't take me long to start loving Christy's amazing personality.  She's one of those people you love even when you don't know her.  She has an infectious smile and a warm heart.  When she first told us about Blake, we could tell that this was it. The first thing she said to me about Blake was that he had done his Mission in College Station and had fallen in love with Texas A&M.  So obviously I couldn't help but approve of him right off the bat.

On December 18th, Christy and Blake tied the knot at the Latter-Day Saints Temple in Mesa, Arizona, and although my family couldn't make it, we sent our love and spent our day looking out for pictures of the wedding.  It was gorgeous.  Yesterday they had their Dallas Wedding Reception, and when Christy asked me to snap some shots of the celebration, I couldn't refuse! Blake and Christy are so adorable together.  Their love for each other is so obvious to everyone who meets them.

These decorations were so cute and so Christy! I loved everything about the recpetion!

Lovely Allie Fetzer {Frisco Senior Portraits}

Yesterday was a beautiful day in December, and I got to spend it with the most amazing ADPi little ever!  My little.  Allie Fetzer is the most amazing girl. From the moment she became part of my Diamond family she started to go above and beyond to be the best little ever.   Sometimes, she takes more care of me than I deserve (especially since she's my little! Oops!)  She's super sweet and amazingly gorgeous and smart and funny.  I am so blessed to know her and to be her friend and sister.  I am also very blessed that I was able to take part in her senior experience (even if it took place after graduation) and shoot her senior pictures.

I hope ya'll enjoy looking at her beautiful face as much as I do!!

Of Course we had to get the Aggie Ring!!! Look at that gorgeous piece of bling!

Alba, Dy, and Jacob// Frisco Family Photography

Today I got to shoot the cutest little family.  I have known Alba and Dy Chin since high school, and they are an amazing couple (now family).  They are high school sweethearts, and it makes me so happy to get to say that I've seen their love grow over the past nine, yes nine, years.  Now they're married and have adorable Jacob to take care of! He's such a serious little four month old with the stubborness of a toddler (ALREADY)! I'm so glad I get to share a little piece of their life with you tonight.

Little Jacob did not want any part of Mom and Dad's kisses.

Playing

Yesterday, we had the most beautiful light at the end of a kind of ugly day.  On days like yesterday, I have to get out and take pictures.  I just have to capture what's around me.  It helps that I really wanted to practice using manual focus on my canon rather than relying on auto focus.  My parents' yard is beautiful this year since most of the trees actually changed color before losing their leaves and because of the holly bushes that have winter berries practically covering every inch of them.

My dad's knock-out roses are absolutely beautiful this year! The bush is huge, and I'm so tempted to start cutting flowers for the kitchen table.

Sunset was so gorgeous and colorful yesterday.

Next stop: capturing people with this lighting!
